As the WPT Boot Camp Summer 2008 offerings get into full swing, it is time to start preparing for the WPT Boot Camp Fall 2008 camps.  The World Poker Tour-sponsored poker boot camps are a great way for players to perfect their cash or tourney game while receiving tutelage from some of the biggest names in poker.

October 2008
October 4-5 – The ultra-luxurious Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut will be hosting a two-day WPT tournament boot camp on October 4th and 5.  Michael Binger, Bernard Lee and Nick Brancato are expected to be training during the camp.

October 25-25 – The MGM Grand Hotel & Casino (where I was married) will be hosting a two-day CA$H camp with Mark Seif, Nick Brancato, Rick Fuller and Jon Friedberg.

November 2008
November 22-23 – There will only be one WPT Boot Camp in November 2008.  The two-day tournament camp will be held at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.  Linda Johnson, Jan Fisher, Crispin Leyser and Jules Leyser will be in attendance.

December 2008
December 13-14 – The Trump Taj Mahal along with Clonie Gowen, Linda Johnson, Jan Fisher and Nick Brancato will be hosting a two-day CA$H camp on December 13-14.

Battle for the Season Pass III
This week-long WPT Boot Camp/Poker tournament will be held in beautiful Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from December 1-7th.  The all-inclusive packages start at $4,495 and you will not only be learning poker but playing in tournaments for a chance at one of 18 main event seats.

Several big names in poker will be attending the Battle for the Season Pass III including T.J. Cloutier, Kristy Gazes, Todd Brunson, Hoyt Corkins, Clonie Gowen, Scotty Nguyen, Vanessa Rousso, Linda Johnson and David Williams.  Fans of the CBS series Survivor will also be excited to know that poker pro, ex-Survivor Jean Robert Bellande is also slated to attend the 2008 Battle for the Season Pass.

The World Poker Tour Boot Camps are extremely popular and are a great way for aspiring poker superstars to step up their game under the tutelage of current poker stars.  All of the summer boot camps still have openings so plan your vacation and book a seat at one of the following WPT Summer 2008 Boot Camp events.

July 2008

After the World Series of Poker ends, the World Poker Tour boot camps start up again.  On July 19 and 20, 2008, a two-day CA$H Camp will be held at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  Pros expected to appear at this camp include Mark Seif, Nick Brancato and Rick Fuller.

August 2008

Another two-day CA$H Camp will be held in August at the Cherokee Casino and Resort in Catoosa, Oklahoma.  Scheduled on August 23 and 24, the camp will also feature Mark Seif, Nick Brancato and Rick Fuller.

September 2008

Although September is split between Summer and Fall, I am including it in the summer schedule.  Two WPT boot camps will be held in September.  The first, scheduled on September 13 and 14 is a two-day tournament camp that will be held at the Trump Taj Mahal in New Jersey.  Poker pro Kenna James will be appearing at this event.

The second September event will be held on September 27 and 28 at the MGM Grand Las Vegas.  This two-day tournament camp will feature female poker phenom Clonie Gowen.
