Best Online Poker Sites

Published by pokermom at 8:51 pm under Online Poker Edit This

The internet is largely responsible for the poker boom.  With the advent of online poker rooms, players around the world have access to live poker – both cash games and tournaments – 24 hours a day and seven days a week, all from the comfort of their own home.  What better way to play poker than dressed in pajamas and sipping a cup of coffee?  If you’re new to online poker, it can be difficult to choose a site so I’ve compiled a list of my top five choices to help in your decision.

PokerMom’s Top Five Online Poker Sites

1.  PokerStars – I know that PokerStars isn’t the most popular of the online sites and not as many poker celebrities wear their tag, but it is the place where I got started in online poker so it makes it to the top spot on my list.

2. Full Tilt Poker – Full Tilt Poker is the home to more big name poker stars than any other site.  You cannot watch a single poker tournament on TV without seeing at least one person wearing their Full Tilt Poker swag.

3. Doyle’s Room – The user interface at Doyle’s Room is fantastic and the site was recently listed as #2 in customer service by Bluff magazine.

4. Bodog – I love the user interface at Bodog, it is by far the best user interface of all of the sites that I have played on.

5. PartyPoker – Party Poker’s parent company has been operating online casinos since 1997 and has a large and loyal customer base.
